Ruby fell in love with beads and making jewellery after trips to the bead shops in London with her Mum when she was 10 years old, and hasn't stopped since!
She works from her home in Camborne, Cornwall.
She attended jewellery making workshops in Penzance in 2005 but since then she has self taught herself many techniques using online tutorials and books.
Her work ranges from intricate and delicate bead work - her Flower Spiral Bracelets and Handwoven Beaded Beads; but she also makes bolder pieces – her Sweetshop bracelets and necklaces.
In 2014 she started working with sea glass and pottery that she finds on the beaches in Cornwall and Dorset, this now being her inspiration and the main focus of her work, but still incorporating the delicate bead work.
She has always wanted to learn to make her own glass Lampwork beads, and after having a days workshop with Helen G Beads this will be her next focus, once a workshop has been built!
